I have really annoying issue! Some one has copied my blog entire blog word by word. it looks exactly like my blog and i don't know what do about this issue. I mean what are my rights .. i mean copying the colours of my fonts to everything

well but don't worry your blog will not be punished for the copied content...because Google is consider the older copy first and than the newer copy so your blog is old, so that that blog will be banned by Google not yours.

secondly; The search engine have NO idea which was the original but will show the pages they deem important from either location.

as they probably get thousands and thousands of those a day, don't expect a fast answer

This is incredibly annoying - its happened to me before too with one of my old sites. I started with a polite e-mail only to recieve a pretty rude and childish one back. So I got a friend of mine on the case who reported it for me and whether something was done about it or the guy just decided to leave it, it disappeared after a couple of weeks

I think google will value more the original once. So don't worry.

Have you tried to used copyscape.com? It help you see who might have copied your content.

I think the OP might know who has copied it. The question is what to do about it!!

I'm unsure if it would do any good, but have you thought about contacting the place they are hosting your duplicated blog, and placing a complaint with them yourself?

If this happened you can inform this to Google. They will take action. I have done this for my site and the other site who copied my content got banned in Google. So don't wry.

don't worry just inform google and try to scare the copy cat by saying that your content has a copyright.

Well first write a mail (Whomsoever has copied your content) and tell that your content are copyright protected and ask them to change them immediately and then mention that if its not changed immediately then you are going to file a notice of infringement to Google.

I would do a whois lookup and threaten them with legal action via the phone number listed.

Like above, do the whois and write a cease and desist letter threatening legal action. Use official looking stationary or get an actual lawyer to write it for you.

Just write an email to the web host and they will close the site, one.com usually do this within 12 hours

This nasty incident has never happened to me yet but I am very interested to everyone's opinions and suggestions here. No one will know when one of my websites get copied. I'll email the culprit first. Find who is at Who.is and call him. Report the copycat website to Google. And wait for results. While waiting, I will write more unique articles for the website and submit them to social networks that I use at once.

well, what will you guys do if some copied your blog, and then reported it to ^^ site saying that your the one who copied their blog... well, I guess Google wont be that stupid not to investigate the sites first or something huh.

I think that you have no other option, and I think that it is better to report it to google and wait what will happen! but it's a long way process before it has taken some action!

who got better position in the SERP? If you think your the original you don't have to do anything . . . they will get the penalty for that. I think google can see who is the clone and who is the original.
