Any body here in webmaster talk doesn't know or don't have any idea what is google?

I know this is a non-sense question but I based it on the thread under the The Google Forum. The thread title is New to Google, star here. I was just wondering... did any one here knows about WT without knowing what google is all about?

Apparently there are many that are clueless about Google and think that Toolbar PR is important.
And "get more backlinks" is the answer to everything!
consider that link exchanges, "social media" spamming, forum signature link spamming etc etc are somehow vital

Oh and seem to think there is something called a nofollow "tag".

So YES! there are people who join here and know nothing about Google.

I know some features of Google but not all of them

There would be many who don't know Google but definitely very less people who use Google services.

I know some advance query on google..tips and tricks

But seriously though, everything chris just said there was right, I think that particular thread is there in an attempt (and unfortunately a seemingly futile one ) to prevent the frustratingly identical and pointless posts from the newbs to the forum.

Unfortunately Chris, I think you fell down with the title of the thread - your target audience would never click on 'New to Google?', because in their eyes they are experts

I'm pretty sure there are still numbers of people that does not have more idea about google especially the newbies of internet.

There is a lot of people without access to internet that probably doesnt know google but as soon as they use the internet google is going to let them know who they are since they are taking control of the web jajajajajaja

Hum, my Mom have heard about Google but she doesn't really sure what is it and where does it work

I don't know Google but I read about it, I use some of their services, I have some experience through my sites, done some experiments, some discussions about it's algo, but only people that know something are those who work there, but i assume they don't know whole story too.....So we can talk, speculate, prove something, use their service....and dream about working there

I know only,Now Google Search = Quality Search for Users

Great services of webmaster tools, analytic , Google Browser etc.. all are the Free services

Google....what a silly name. $10 says it'll never amount to anything!

I know Google and I am now using some of its services... Google alerts are really great, just wanna share it...
