Hello Readers,

Recently I've been hearing ALOT about Google blacklist. I've tried to find websites that list all of the sites blacklisted by Google but no such luck. If you have any information or thoughts about the Google blacklist feel free to post. Thanks in advanced

There isn't one.

There are a few checks that can be done, but they are rarely conclusive in proving a hostname is banned.

Thanks for the information. Do you think they will come out with such a website?

Google never will, they occasionally go public with some high profile cases just to demonstrate that nobody has the right to "cheat the system" and get away with it.

Third party websites would be very much open to legal action should they list sites that aren't actually banned, and the ones that are banned don't talk about much.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to know which sites are on the blacklist? Are you concerned with the possibility of being associated with one? Does Google penalize by association?

I was just wondering. And no I'm not associated with any website that would ever be black listed on Google.

Yeah, the only one I remember hearing about is the famous BMW case, where the .de domain just plummeted because of what I think was disguising keywords (correct me if I'm wrong)

Does anybody know of any other high profile cases? I'd be intereted to know

you can use tools to see if they are black listed. I mean, their website are not being indexed nor cached and also no back links. By that you'll know its not a good site. If you see does things then decide not to link on them. And also black listed sites are not visible in google.

All I did was try the tool then compare it to other. If it gives a good result then it's more accurate than in other tool. And by the way, I am referring on the post before mine.. He says "use tool".

Yep

BUT my point is HOW do you know it's "a good result"?

Tools that gives a good result doesn't mean that it is always accurate...
