I am expecting my article and not my index to appear in search result but goole is giving me the index..

For example in these 2 articles with titles.
1. How much I lost in Smoking
2. Smokers Losses Teeth

When you type any of these titles in google search, my index appear instead of article itself... any idea why?

Thanks

because that's the page that the algorithm decides is the most important for that query.

BTW.
It should be loses.

losses is the cumulative costs on an accounting balance sheet of a company with financial problems.
