i am the webmaster of
http://contraildesigns.com/

I am trying to add a google search bar to the top left corner of my site. the coding has all been added and everything looks nice, but the problem is sometimes it does not work. i have tried everything i know of to narrow down on the problem but so far have made no progress at all. i think it may be a conflicting code somewhere. id say maybe 50% of the time it will work fine, but other times it sends me to this page:

http://sorry.google.com/sorry/?conti...%26sa%3DSearch

it doesn't seem to matter what i search for, whether i hit enter or click the search button etc... im at a loss. any help is much appreciated

I don't think that has anything to do with your google search bar on your site. That's an error that people will normally get when they do to many searches with Google too quickly. It has to do with your IP address and not with the actual website. Can anyone else confirm this?

Hmm?

Are you trying to tell us that you use the search box on your site which has your adsense ID for searching google?

I'm not signed up for adsense at the moment, strictly the search bar. kb241, there is a definite chance that you are right because I was doing quite a few searches within a short amount of time trying to test it. I just want to verify that this is the cause before I move on to something else. Virus notifications from a web design page isn't likely to be good for business
