Hey Guys,
I recently installed clicktale on my site which among many things records which keywords people are using to hit my site.
Don't ask me why but I decided to cross reference the list of keywords from clicktale with google analytics and found that it was not showing me the exact keyword.
For instance someone seaches for "Where can I buy cheap widgets?", click tale would represent it accurately and google analytics represents it as "cheap widgets".
I think I know why this could be. I am sponsoring keywords in PPC like "cheap widgets". I understand why on my PPC campaign management screen it displays the short tail version, but surely google analytics should be able too show me exactly what people are searching for?
Am I using google analytics wrong or is this a limitation imposed by google when using ppc campaigns
