Man to think I just launched my website, back in the middle of July 2008. I remember reading about the PR updates that were taking place at the end of the July, that's when I was thinking to myself, man 3-6 months before the next update. But when I check my Alexa stat this evening I noticed something else. I just now finally had an update to my PR, From PR0 to PR3! It's a simple website based on CSS and XHTML validated web projects I have in my portfolio, non the less, I am very happy about this update to my first ever SEO efforts in web. I'd love to see examples and reports on how your current SEO efforts are going and possible results from from the latest Google PR update, please share your updates with us?

I Got PR update on my site since july last week. I have not get any result after july my website PR is same as it's before.

Well, unique visitors raised by 44% since last month, my conversions are 10% better now, average time on site went from 3min to 5min, so I am satisfied with my SEO efforts. Regarding PR update, my visitors don't know what the PR is and I couldn't find the way to use it. My rankings for targeted keywords are very good, and better than many sites (that target same keywords) with greater PR, so I don't see again how PR can help me with my SEO efforts.
Can you explain please, how exactly Google PR update is having an influence on your SEO results? I didnt get that from your post. Do you sell links, perhaps?

How did you managed to have PR3 in such a short time. You did a lot of posting? I got pr2 around last 3 months and till then, there's no change. And my website was launched since dec 2007.

And what will you do about it now? How does this help you?

my blog PR is still on PR3 but it does not mean a lot to me even PR update happens now or not!

Exactly. My company's blog got PR 2 but it doesn't mean it will increase the amount of visitors. It means nothing.

I got a PR 3 from previously having a PR0. My other site stayed the same.

All my sites have gone from "don't care!" to "still not bothered!"

Yes I went from a page rank 0 to a page rank 2 on my 3 month old new site but i don't really care about page rank since is not going to guarantee me a nice position on google

I can understand your feelings mate because my first blog also got PR 3 in latest PR updates. This is really great feeling which you cant explain in words.

heheh PR updation is like declaring results for all webmaster. Some one got good rank because of their sheer labour and some one got just pass marks.

My one blog decreased from PR 2 to PR 0 and it was expected because I was not doing anything for that.
