I have a main domain which has a pagerank of 6. And also has a sub-domain. I gave a link to sub-domain from main domain to pass the pagerank. But the pagerank is not passed to sub-domain from the main domain. At present, my sub-domain pagerank is 0. How to increase my sub-domain pagerank? Please Help. Thanks in advance.

see if you can work it out from there.

Get good amount of external or internal backlinks and you would start seeing the PR grow

get more relevant backlinks and started to do proper link building techniques if you want to have PR!

Try getting paid link or free inbound link ...

So you're saying I should rename my domain to www.com, and then 302 redirect it?

For anyone reading this, Chris is (rightly) saying there is nothing magical about a sub domain.

When you request back-links, get so them of them to point to your sub-domain not just your homepage. Then you will get pr thru-out your site. I would do a 5-1 ratio ( for every 5 links to your homepage get 1 to the sub-domain)

if you want your sub pages have a PR, try deep-linking... uhhm, I know it is for Directory submissions... make use of all you sub pages so that you'll gain more traffic.

optimize and advertise your sub domains like you did to your domain. it would have a PR as well by that way.
