haha I think he means how to catch the Google bot to his website a.s.a.p.

Well you can submit it into Google and what might help aswell is posting on a forum that doesn't use the no follow tag, forums are often crawled and this way your website will be aswell.

Getting some social bookmarks can also help you get indexed quickly.

Getting relevant links from other web sites will help. Comment on no follow blogs and forums.

That tag will just limit google-bot not make it return. For instance if you have it set for 3 days and google comes back in 2. The crawler will leave and come back whenever, not the next day. When google-bot comes back in 10 days ( or whenever), the algorithm will check to see if the last visit is greater ten 3 is so, google-bot will crawl the site.

I did a 8 month experiment on robot tags last year, and that's what I found out. Just thought I would share the info.

The revisit after is an exclusion tag. It's not because you have <META name="Revisit-After" content="30 Days"> that the bots will come back after 30 days, they just won't come back earlier than that.

It's totally pointless.

Actually it will do absolutely NOTHING The only search engine to use that meta is LONG LONG LONG since defunct.

Sites can and are crawled in periods of time lesser than 30 days.

Lot's of them are by the way.

One more thing: Being Cached every 15 days or every 6 days or every 3 days doens't mean the googlebot isn't going to hang around in between.

Let me give you the example of Digg. It get's cached every 6 days or so, but it's content is being crawled by the second and being indexed by the hour.

And Yes... The more content you put up, original content, and the faster you do so, the faster your site will gain credit with google and the faster it will get indexed, crawled and cached.
