I am begining to understand the need for fresh unique content but am unsure of where and how to incorporate this into my site. Do you mean that I am to completely change the content in my site or just add new pages?

If its add new pages where do i put them for the greatest effect?

What I mean is this: I spend loads of time getting my page rank up by getting relevant links etc what is the benefit of writting a new page with no pr? Do the crawlers determin what my main page links to? and will my new page feature in the serp's because of the rank of other pages.

New pages though improving existing copy helps as well.

all pages can rank on their own merit.

Some people find it difficult to maintain fresh content on their site so you are not alone. However it is vital if you want to get good rankings.

The way I see it is you have 2 options:

1. Start a blog for your site and update it with fresh content (ideally 3 times a week) and use that to direct traffic to your site. Google will crawl it more frequently and visitors will see it as a site that can be linked to because it is a good resource.

2. Start a news or info page on your site. This will work the same way as the blog. The more relevant content you put up there the more likely visitors will come back repeatedly and link to it.
