When talking about backlinks from one website to your website, if there is say 10 links to your website on one page of another website, will each of those links count towards your backlinks?

Or will google only accept/register one backlink to your website per page of the website where the links to yours are given?

Or will google only accept/register one backlink to your website per the ENTIRE website where the links to yours are given?

Im not sure if thats explained properly. Basically im trying to ask if multiple links to your website appear on another website, will each of those links be counted? Or will google only count 1 link to your website per webpage the link is found on OR per entire website the links found on?

It is unhealthy to have bunch of links from one page, as google may see it is for manipulation or might flag as paid links.

Who knows? - And more importantly. Who cares?

Whether the links are good for getting real traffic is what you should be looking at.

To have a better effect as for as passing of PR juice is concerned, never have more than 20 outgoing links per page and similarly get inbound links to your site from other pages that doesn't contain more than 20 outbound links. These days, goolge penalise websites by removing the PR when it considers there is link exchange or link sales.

Oh dear I wonder what to do about the navigation on my sites, because that's site wide. Does it mean all my pages are going to be penalamised??

What is meant by "site wide links"?

Each page of my websites subpages, have a link that will take the user back to the mainpage, is that a "site wide link" or something?

And my mainpage has about 12 links or so that lead to other pages of my website (doesnt everyones mainpage have this?), is this bad too??? that seems rediculous if true, what, your website cant have links to its other pages or something wtf!

"site wide links" are ones that appear on every page of any given site.

The simple fact is that it just one more indicator that there is lots of drivel bandied about by link exchanging "experts".

When haveing to many links on a page... well doesn't it seem to be to unnatural to a visitator to a site? I'd say it isn't to good, since you want that visitator to come back! Unnatural linking make a bad reputation for you, that's why i try to keep my sites clean as possible
