My forum got into Google within only a few weeks of submission, but not all the pages are index yet. I have heard of other people's sites taking months to get in.

Within 2 days. I had my blog on a do-follow link on another forum and I as listed in Google.

with in a few days for my site, some of my blogs took about 2 days. still try to create the best content and get a nice rank in Google to get more visitors that convert.

it takes couple of days before google index my blogs, I'd just continue posting fresh and unique content for my blog then do proper link building!

I totally agree with this. Site indexing is not a big matter.

My site takes 4 days and blog takes 3 days for index.

I would say about a week or so. I didn't check Google because I had other things to do on the website to get it ready.

listed in a week or so, but after 3 months I've still got no Backlinks showing (from a link: search) - even though I've got loads of genuine backlinks (showing in awstats and google analytics) starting to get fustrated with it!

You can have your HOME indexed in a few days...the thing is to have indexed ALL the pages of the site
