If you mean by "method for SEO" the best way to get quality backlinks, I should say that article submission is better...but I think that one have to work in almost all them

I say the best methods for SEO starts with careful keywords analysis and keyword promotion... the biggest source of traffic for me are SEs and having a nice SERP is one of my targets.

Blog creation and directory submission is the good method for seo.
