Hey Guys,

Have you checked on Google SERP via Google account? Just couple of days back I knew that we will able to edit SERP via our Google account and just last day I noticed that now Google has started this feature and that's what they call Search Wiki

What kills me is how everyone is getting all upset about this like it's something new.. It's actually an incredibly poor attempt at emulating one of the coolest things that Yahoo ever did, Mindset.. It was a search where you had sliders where you could adjust the results from commercial to research results.. It rocked, and almost no one seemed to know about it..

This is just a clumsy version of that.. Or maybe even a terrible plexo voting system.. But, since you need to actually be logged in to see it and use it it may be a while before we see it affecting live results..

The changes you make only affect your own searches. But SearchWiki also is a great way to share your insights with other searchers. You can see how the community has collectively edited the search results by clicking on the "See all notes for this SearchWiki" link.

I wonder why? I believe that would be great opportunity to have custom search

So why should I want to know what you search for?

it only affects you own search, but still not enough to impress more users!
