I have recently read

http://www.google.com/support/webmas...36&topic=15265

Quote:
Not all paid links violate our guidelines. Buying and selling links is a normal part of the economy of the web when done for advertising purposes, and not for manipulation of search results. Links purchased for advertising should be designated as such.

Shall we get paid links to get some PR or Ranking ? What Google Thinking about the Paid link?
Will I get banned if I get paid links ?
How should we find the non-voilating links?

If you want to - It probably won't have any effect though.

They don't want links that are bought purely to manipulate their system.

Nope but they:
A) probably won't have the effect you are hoping for.
B) you'll probably find the useless toolbar value will become more accurate - stuck on 0

Buy links for their ADVERTISING value.

Its really tough to know who is buying paid who is non-paid.

Plus I think Google should take care of their own algorithm, instead of telling people they can't sell links. Every webmaster have the right to earn selling ad spots just as Google does.

Paid Links, it's unnecessary I think, many way to create the link.

Google are NOT telling webmasters NOT to buy or sell links! They are saying NOT to buy or sell them based on perceived PageRank "value".

There are a few discussions here on it:

If you're plan is to manipulate PR, then you might get penalized for buying/selling links.

I don't think you may get banned for buying links, you may loose some PR but that's it. What does PR hold these days? All I've been hearing about is "as long as you have good positions in SERP, then you'll be fine". I see low PR sites reaching 1st page of SERP because of relevancy, not their PR.

The SEO benefits you get from paid links tend to be temporary. You should build links manually. That way, you can monitor the quality of links you're building.

Providing that the paid link is more than temporary and it doesn't get discovered, there is no reason for the SEO benefit to be temporary. The SEO benefit remains as long as the link does.

Paid links aren't strictly forbidden, and Google haven't changed their stance on them.

They don't want you buying/selling links to manipulate rankings, that's all. By all means buy them to get loads of traffic. If you haven't got nofollow on the link, Google will assume you bought it to manipulate your rankings.

Yes google allows you to go for the paid links. Google will give all the benefits from that page where your site is. If your site is on high PR page than you also get PR juice from that page and also it help you to increase your SERP.

Getting paid links will surely ban your website. It is only happened in the case if someone reports to the G about paid links. They verify the things and then goes on penalizing a website.

I've never heard such rubbish. Kindly arrest yourself and hand yourself over to the Self Proclaimed SEO Expert Correction Facility.

Your bought links might end up doing nothing at all but you won't be banned. Otherwise you could just buy links to sites you want to saboutage.

But well done for ignoring all the useful information in this thread and spouting nonsense. You're well on the way to earning the "seo" in your username.
