I used to be able to enter the manufacturer and part number of the products I was selling, reorganize the search results by price, then see my products up towards the top when I undercut the other guys. Recently I cannot find my products anymore? Is there something that I did or could do inadvertently that would get me "banned" from google base product listings? I checked the "my items" tab and it says all my products (only like 5 or 6 at a time) are "published and searchable" so I cannot figure out for the life of me why they do not appear in search results.

Maybe your competitors are doing the same tactics and you are all canceling yourselves out............

Well, if competitor A has their price at 5.00 and competitor B has their price at 7.00, and my price is 6.00... shouldn't my item still show up? That's what I'm getting at.

You have to update your Google Base listings every 30 days I believe.. After that they pull them until you update them again..

Just curious, what do you mean by "update them"? I see some listings that now show "expired" that are on the "my items" / "inactive items" tab... but I've created new ones since then that are not expected to become inactive items until a couple weeks from now. I basically copied and pasted the old information in to a new listing and then published it.

Do I have to delete the old listing that shows under the "inactive items" tab before my active items are going to be shown? I could not see any way to successfully just reactivate them after they became inactive due to being listed the 31 day period. If all it takes is to delete the inactive duplicate items, that will make solving my problem easy.

what is the product?If you think its not being placed double check your work, maybe you didn't follow the instruction. If you're doing the right way and the problem still occur repeat it again maybe the problem is in how you save the file and continue uploading the file to make sure of the success.

I think I'm just going to try to upload a data feed instead. I have so many products now that it's getting to the point where I don't just want to "pick ten" anymore.

My suggestion is you can update your product in Google Base.

It's Google's "Marketplace" where you can list products for sale and lead customers to your site. They can list products that are relevant to the keywords they enter (i.e. blue jacket), then categorize them by relevance to the keywords, or price, or location of the item for sale.
