No offence, but anyone who only uses one source for anything should be shot. Its like buying a car/house/mp3 player/phone and only going to the store to look at the item.

I agree! but google gives the biggest number of traffic. Also social bookmarking will help to.

yes, this is true. well i'm talking based on my personal experience. My blog's been de-indexed from G, and I never had any visitors since! Imagine, no visitors from yahoo, msn, and the like because I concentrated to google! whew.

Well, there are 2 million reasons why you do need google. Making good use of multiple sources is just fine, but google is there, and you can't ignore it.

I agree that Google is great but such monopoly is not so good....I mean that alternative sources must exist...
