hello all, i recently built a small site with my main account, say maindomain.com. and bought a new domain with godaddy pointing to the subdomain, say subdomain.maindomain.com, and the new domain is newdomain.com. that is, subdomain.maindomain.com and newdomain.com both point to the same subdirectory under the main directory, and i could visit the newdomain.com with no problems.
lastmonth i made a few inlinks to the new site and google indexed the backlinks, but the question is: google does not index my new site, nor yahoo and live do. so search engines do not like addon domains?

Do you give them access to how your hosting is set up?

If not, how would they "know"?

i checked the robots.txt of both maindomain and subdomain, and no problems, and the meta robot tag is index and dofollow, so no problem.
but i could not produce sitemaps as i could not install relevant plugins, but i do not think this is the cause right?
i checked the site logs and did not see google, yahoo and live even visiting the past week, as a matter of fact, not since the site was finished, only a local search engine came these past two days.
by the way, google crawl the maindomain everyday. so what should i do?
