My google is driving me nuts, about 75% of the searches go fine, yet some searches from google give the normal results but when clicked take me to an ask.com type page?

I ran adaware deleted all of what it found (fully updated too btw) and it "seemed" to fix it yet its hard to tell since it doesnt happen ALL the time, but today again I put a business name into google search to get their phone and address and a dumb ask.com page came up UGHH

Anyone heard of this happening and or why?

This is definitely some type of virus/adware. I might've had the same virus lately. You should do a more thorough search for viruses. You might have to use different software. In the end I think I had to use a separate virus patch to fix the problem. Try combofix. It might've been the one that worked for me.
