Hi,

Any tips for boosting my website's Google PageRank? Its currently got a rank of 2.

I have a blog on the site that I update every couple of days, Ive added the website url to various directories and Ive submitted it to search engines...

How long will it be until I see an increase in my PageRank?

Any other tips please?

PageRank is a measure of the PageRank of other pages linking to yours. The only way it goes up is if more web pages that pass pagerank link to your pages. Google updates the PageRank they show in their toolbar every 3 months or so. There's not set date. The could update toolbar PR tomorrow and they might never update it again.

More importantly stop worrying about it. PR is not the end all and be all of anything. Your goal should not be to increase your PageRank. If you practice good marketing your PR will go up without you having to do anything specifically to see it go up.

More and more links will increase you PR as well as the ageing of the domain!

Then it means we have to pay money for the page link or clink to make PR go up?
In fact, I know there is some free ways to increase PR. It is to post your page link at abundant free adpost site. But I do now know how much it will increase the PR. That is the problem. Of course it can be as well as the paid click link. I think.

Google rank be increased by build more and more links. Quality and relevant links will effect SERP more. It will take around 2 weeks to see a difference in SERP.

It have many way to boot your PR such as submit directory , social bookmark, etc...

but now It's not necessaries to focus on PR.

Exchanging links with high PR sites will drastically improve your PR. But don't get too concerned about it, traffic and ranking are even more important.

Yes, to increase your Page Rank, you need to keep on getting backlinks from dofollow sites to let the PR juice pass to your pages.. and just wait for the next PR update...

It's really important to not much focused on PR. There are many other important things to consider such as your serp, analyzing what link building methods are effective for your site, what keywords do bring benefits to your site in terms of getting organic traffic from search engines, and most of all your site's CONVERSION...

Higher PR is due to massive continuous traffic that flow to your site everyday. If you have that current PR, you need to have additional traffic per day to gain more search engine visit and will give you another higher PR somewhere on your site.

You can boost those traffic by posting in forums, blogs, social networking sites, giving away free ebooks, article submissions to tens and hundreds of article directories.

Personally I never look at my Pagerank and I don't care to. It doesn't matter. What matters is your site is successful and making money, which mine is, so I couldn't give a rats arse about PR.

Directory submission will basically max out PR at around 3 from my experience, and that was after submitting to a very large amount of directories. Frankly I wouldn't worry about it PR doesn't matter, SERP's matter. Focus on getting quality links such as from real functioning websites rather than link farms and you'll be fine.

Obviously, they are still related because Google still gives higher ranking in SERPS to those who Have high PR.
However, if you have researched you keyword well and have optimized your pages greatly, you can have that result ranking even if you don't have PR (of course)

Backlinks from high pr sites in your niche is the formula. Articles and blog submissions can help also.

High Pr, relevant, quality links. Get lots of those and your laughing.

Get more back links.. Be sure to submit your site on relevant sources..

Why PR is so important for you, I think traffic is more important in online market because traffic give business. Try to increase more and more backlink for your site from relevant resources.

Post in relevant forums using your link.
Try to find partners having good PR.

get .edu backlink to increase google serp position or get more backlink from high PR site.

but need to remember, use the target keyword as anchorlink
