Hey, I am thinking of purchasing either 5,500 backlinks for $10, 30,000 backlinks for $20 or 120,000 for $45 from this guy on DP. The thread is 5 pages long and all full of good feedback with a lot of people saying their SERP's have improved a lot since they bought it.

But won't the majority of the links be irrelevant for this service? Will Google realize that when the next PR update comes, or would I be safe buying say 30,000 backlinks? Positives/negatives?

Well, overall, a quality of links means much more than a quantity. The question is where these links will come from and how relevant they are for your topic. Anyway, I'd ask for more details before making a decision since simply a link spam won't do you any good.

We all know that BUYING LINKS is not good to website, it might cause you being BANNED in SEs, most especially in GOOGLE.

If all of these links have the same anchor text I think it could be a problem. Google would likely recognize these as unnatural links.

Seeing the price I guess that there are Black Hat methods used. this might work for the moment, but once Google recognizes this your website will be off the SERPs - I would't take that risk!

The risk of being banned from google SERPS is extremely high when getting that number of backlinks in one time. I would reconsider the offer.

Their is no quick way to do things right. Sounds like your buying your way in to getting banned. If you take the time to do things right, in the long run you will be glad you did.

You are taking a risk to get banned. I don't recommend that.

^I agree! I prefer you to do it in a good way I mean build your link by doing off page optimization. Just keep on building quality links.

First of all Google doesn’t like paid links, next relevancy and page rank of linking page is important.

300 quality links are better then 30000 links.

If you could get banned for 'buying' links then we would all be buying them for our competitors web sites..

building backlinks in bulk may get ur site effected badly in search engines. Google likes natural backlinks and not irrelevant or spammy links.
try to build same niche backlinks slowly n steadily with proper targeted keywords, dont buy bulk links in a hurry or in a lot.

link building providers do not take care properly while submitting to directories or link exchange. they may get ur website link on spammy directories or link farm pages too. so better try getting backlinks on ur own.

Think of quality rather than quantity - first principle in link building in my book. 100 quality and relevant links will do more good than 1,000 random links.

Lol! 120,000 links for $45? That's really tempting for newbie. My advice is don't buy it. Build relevant links slowly and your site will be safe.

YES,the high quality backlink is better than quantity.

What's the use of thousands of backlinks if they're not related to your site's topic? Don't buy it!

I think that is a monthly charge. I prefer to put in the time to make my own backlinks. You just have to put in the time if you want to do it right.
