Yes, I dont understand, I have good quailty links to my site and PR when down?

The main thing you have to understand is PR not only been calculated based on the back links. Back link is also one of a factor that affect PR. May be you might have missed it some where else, try to find it out.

y all sites PR are not update at th same date, some sites PR will update after 1 month, y this happens.

One of my chat sites went from PR 3 to PR 4 on Wednesday. The other 4 sites stayed the same. The PR update in the toolbar isn't that big of a deal, as it only reflects what Google is already seeing, but it seems to make a difference when dealing with other webmasters. I've had many sites that wouldn't even answer my emails until I reached a PR of 3 or 4.

But I will continue building high quality links to reach the top of the keywords I'm aiming for. A boost in the greenbar, however, is nice pat on the back.

I think web site age also matters in PR just like back links but might have less value because all people advise building back links to gain PR.

One of my sites that I just sold...finallyyy now that I don't own it has a PR1...So they really must be updating.

After three months since I started it, my forum got a PR 3, and all this mainly because I submitted to A LOT of directories.

I checked my site and still no changes on pr yet. Maybe soon.

My blogger blog PR reduce to 0 from 2. Maybe the Google reduce the blogger rank.

My site's backlinks were updated. But until now, I don't see any changes on that green bar for my handled websites. It's okay though. If it increase, then that's good. If not, no worries at all.

This time google PR update was really encouraging. Many of the pages of my site got PR from none to PR2, 3, or 4

and did you see an increase of your rankings? If not, how did that make any difference to your site considering 90% of the users don't check page rank.

just a thought.

PR is way overrated. If most webmater would put half the effort of increasing page rank actually working on their sites, the web would be filled with valuable content and tools.

How was the bounce rate, and user behavior this period?

Why do you care about PR? Are you selling links? Thats the only good thing about PR. I have sites with 0 pr that rate #1 in google for very hard keywords.
So it doesnt help with traffic and it doesnt help with getting listed higher, then why does everyone care??

If your a webmaster you should have two main focuses. 1. Content! 2. TRAFFIC!
Those will make you the money not PR... (unless you sell links)

You have experience google dance!.. You cannot get stable results yet!.. Your rankings goes up and then down! or vice versa.. Wait until google finishes the updates and see the result..

It's odd that Google updates pagerank more often these days. Anybody here who knows why?
