I am working on getting a job list website up and running. Google will not index the job listing pages or the page for each job. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew Lyons

google has problems with question marks in the url. we had the same problem when we first got started.

best method to solve the problem is to use a function called mod_rewrite. i don't have any links left from where i learned how to do it, but i'm sure there are plenty of helpful tutorials on google (might want to search this forum too as the topic comes up about once a month). its pretty easy to set up.

good luck!
:-)

As dems said its the questionmarks causing the problems..
So you need to use mod_rewrite..

I have a dynamic site and very few of my pages were being indexed by google until a friend of mine told me about http://www.staticshell.com

It basically converts a dynamic site into a static one. I just thought that I'd pass it along to those who were having the same trouble as I was.

Have you tried using the following in your meta tags in your dynamic pages?
<meta name="robots" content="INDEX,FOLLOW">
Also don't expect google to give your dynamic pages pr unless you use a mod_rewrite.
