Google is definitely the biggest with it's massive database and resources but how are we judging best. By size, by accuracy, by amount of usage? Google doesn't always give the most relevant search results. I've found that sometimes Bing and or Yahoo get me better results depending on what I'm searching.

Yes you are right that Google doesn't always give the correct results, that's because it only gives out accurate search results. Unlike Bing or Yahoo, they most likely gives users the most relevant results for every search that is done by users.

That's also the reason why I don't use Google always. I think it is really better to use different SEs sometimes when searching different queries on the internet.

G is always been good n no one can beat it... as far as concern to result showing is concern I think its all coz of SEO.

I think it will be hard to determine who gives the best search results but because most people are comfortable with google they'll stay well ahead!

Bing and Yahoo give different returns to Google. Less results, but still good. How many results do you want for each subject 2, 10, 100 or 10,000 ?

Sometimes I think that Google gives poor results - eg forums that were closed 4 years ago. Artilces that were posted 5 years ago !

Although google is currently the most reliable, I can see that Bing will one day be joining the ranks. There’s still a lot of improvement to be made.
