HIII...has anybody have a idea about which technology does google uses???they have to maintain such huge databases???in what language google was originally developed ??

Google uses a combination of different languages across their many applications. Python and C mostly I believe. Orkut uses asp.net.

they may use the usual technology but clever people in clever way

I don't think they would tell the public everything that they are doing.
But I think they use different kinds of languages with the best developers in the world.

Perhaps not directly... but, if you go to jobs.google.com and read some of the job descriptions, you could infer that they use a lot of C++ and Java.

Searching for software engineers at Google on LinkedIn, and reviewing some profiles would seem to confirm the inference.

I never knew learning C, C++ and JAVA could get me into Google! How could I ignore these subjects!
