Hey guys, this is my first post here. I'm glad to be here!

I finally got my site on google, and everything is working, but when I search my keywords, the wrong page is looked for. I want to make the description say what's in the 'about' page of my blog. Right now it's saying the words of the first post.

Any help?

Type in golf in lexington on google, and it's under Man O War golf whatever. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Google is taking the description from dmoz. If you don't want that to happen, use <meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”>.

that's a search result snippet.. google usually crawl and display whats best describe your site.. try to create more detailed description on your meta description.. it'll help..
