Google has only indexed 1198 out of 4459 pages on my website. It has been about 2 or 3 weeks. I have been getting 10 - 15 pages every other day indexed by google. I created a site map, got a webmaster account, and have summitted to about 400 directories. My site is www.inspirationchild.com. Can anyone help......

Be patient and wait. make sure you have added XML sitemap.

help me out too... my blog which was on the first page of google, has suddenly vanished. it is no where to be found. the hub i created for my blog is in the second page. i tried checking with various google tools, and no ohishing or illegal content/matter was reported by google. but one thing strange i got to know. it said "the google has not crawled your site in last 90 days"
huh! its really difficult to understand google sometimes

There is no guarantee google will index all your page so you might be waiting a while!

did you submit a sitemap of your site to google?Thats the one of the way for google to see your site pages.

Try placing and ad on Craigslist. That always gives my websites the bump it needs.

Yes, I did submit my sitemap to google. Thanks for your replies, I will keep waiting. Maybe it will speed up...

When you have that many pages in your site it can take awhile for all of them to be picked up. Try pointing some links at your inner pages through out the site, this way you have the crawlers coming in from a few different directions. This should get pretty much all of the pages indexed. One good link from a high pr site wouldn't hurt either but that is a different story.

Today my index showed 1197 (-1 today). Is this normal........

If I were you I would check to make sure it's not banned!

How about resubmit your sitemap??

We are making a couple of changes and then I plan to resubmit my sitemap. I had a couple of duplicate meta descriptions and title tags. I'm hoping this was part of the issue. Thanks for all the help....

Corrr! very large site and most impressive if you have created nearly 5,000 pages on your own (must have taken some while and several new keyboards). it will take time for google to crawl them, even with xml map. it won't happen overnight, if it did we'd all be bill gates, not shoe shine boys....

How can expect that.You have to wait atleast 2 months for that.

Not if you use Digg and similar sites. Then you can get indexed within a few days. It will take a while for all the pages to get indexed, but not that long once some pages have been indexed.

Deep linking and creating a sitemap helps your inner pages get index.

I've created a sitemap and I'm in the process of deep linking. Thanks for the help... I'm still new at this.

wait for a moment and submit your XML sitemap to google webmaster center,

then promote your site to every where in the internet.

actually i had checked with google, and it never said that the blog has been banned from/by google.
it just said "the google has not crawled your site in last 90 days"
