there are alot of arguments abt this facts, If you are building links for PR then you should have that link on the high PR page for link juice.

you dont have to be exactly where there is a high PR. Having links in inner pages is good enough. But of course there is more link juice in the high pr page.

the amount of link juice you will get is based on the webpage that you will put your link, and it is not based on the mainpage... so even if the mainpage are PR5 and the subpages are PR0 then you will be having less benefits from that site.

If you have a link on internal page which don't have any PR is different from the PR 5 link juice.

If you are visiting posts on a blog that is updated regularly, you do not know what PR the page has unless you work for Google. The rest of us have to look at the PR displayed in the toolbar and that was last updated in May (as far as I know). So any post dated after May will show PR0 in the toolbar, but that doesn't mean anything:0).

I think even if you get a little link juice it is still beneficial if it is coming from relevant site. it is still much better from PR5 link from a site that is not related to your niche...

Of course it is not from PR5, remeber PR is for a page, not for a site!

But, if u can get a link from the homapge PR5 site, it is also not bad!

You get link juice from PR5 page but its depend that how deep that page from home page where they place your link.

Most of the site provide you link from those pages which is too deep and directly connect from home page.

So try to get link from less deep pages for link juice.
