Let's say a dofollow blog has PR5 but each page where you could post comment has PR0 (this is what i see all the time). Will you still get a link juice? Will it be a link juice from PR0 or PR5?

Good question here!!
Most people get crazy when they got a link from a PR5 site, ignoring on which page that link places!
In the case that u have said, u will not get a PR5 link juice!
But a link is a link, u will still get some benefit from it!
If those PR0 pages got link coming from those PR5 pages, it will surely have some share of link juices which can be forward to your link.

You will get link juice from both ..but more from PR 0 ...If Home PR is higher then i can transfer some more link juice along with PR0 page and link from pr0 of home page pr2 is not equal worthy than a link from pr 0 of home PR5 ..

Jenie good point. Much better if it is related for sure!! I have also been reading that Yahoo has been taking nofollow links into consideration as well?
Good question Optimist5, this is what you gain in my point of view
1)PR 5 blog gets crawled by Search engines pretty much quickly and if your about to get inbound links in a page of that domain its good coz your link getting aware is pretty much fast.
2)If the homepage has a PR of 5 and its obvious that the internal page is a new page of that blog. Therefore by time to pass i am pretty much sure that particular page with 0 PR will achieve a good PR in the future.
3)In conclusion yeah its better but the link juice will not have a impact of that of a PR 5 page.
It will be taken as PR0 links only. When a blog has PR5, most of the posts will have PR0. Couple of them may have PR4, some will have PR3,2 and 1. The challenge is to find the high PR post and comment on them.
Absolutely. But I don't think the PR is what's really important here, PR is more representative of the quality of the site. And any quality site linking to you will be very worthwhile. However, even a PR 0 site will still be valuable, just not as valuable as a "high PR" site, because the high pr site brings more credibility when linking to you.

Yes, you can still get link juice from it. But are you sure the blog also accepts nofollow comments? If yes, that's a really good way to build quality backlinks.

Hey, there, u can get some link juice, but definitely not from the PR5.
It will be a plus if the blog is related and high quality one!
You will be benefited , but the link juice from PR5 page will not pass to you. But that particular backlink should match your theme. Thematic links are very important.
