The only way is to get respected by google. Other discussions are like talking about live on Mars - nothing is true.
To find out - look for this:
"website promotion articles by shulman"

try to get high PR for your site. If you can get high PR for your site than you can easily get good SERP for your site. It is the best way to get SERP for your site.

I believe content is king in this instance. Search engines loves content -- new, fresh, interesting content -- so work on this and you will see the light grasshoppa.
