Are you sure you are really ranking on page one? I thought I was until I realized the "personalized search" was screwing with me! Sign out of google and erase web history, then search again.

Also, a term that gets 66 searches a month won't get you many visitors anyway.

What do you mean by no increase in traffic as does your site gettting higher traffic and its stable or does your site not getting good traffic even if it is on the top on SE?
If your site is on th top of SE and still not getting traffic then may possible your targeted keyword has no enough search volume.

To be on the top is good for the webmaster. When you see you can get to the top with a keyword is a start.
But now you have to thinks as a user that are looking for your subject.
Every user have its way to seach on Google and for diferent keywords you get diferent results.
You must put the most popular keywords on the sistem on the tittle on the description on the meta keywords in the body etc...
Then when you rank on top for lots off keywords you get a lot of visitors to your site.

Backlinks, page rank, good keywords- do all these magic.

I think the OP has to word harder and get that keyword to top 3.

Why you guys suggesting change the keyword.

FIRST page really means NOTHING until you get the first spot. Right?

If you achieved the first spot still no traffic, try to optimize time management, I think it will bring you nice traffic.

Absolutely wrong! First spot means nothing if search term doesn't get any searches!

Also, in my research and testing I saw good increases in traffic from making first page of a term, but "above the fold" was where the real increases began to show and I didn't really see much of a difference between #1 and #3 for a search term.

Of course that is just in my experience

We could not say he should change this keyword until that guy get his it to the first spot and still without any increase in traffic, right? There are HUGE differences bewteen ranking the first and tenth, right?

Sorry when I said optimize time management, I meanet that he should try to rank it, maybe it could bring hime much traffic.

that's what i also thinking that your keyword was not really on the first.

Your keyword is not natural meaning don't just mixed words and make it as keyword phrase, be natural. Management should be your origin keyword added by natural sounding phrase and think which phrase would come-out in your mind when you are thinking of time management.

That web history is really screwing things up for me. Clients are thinking they are higher than they really are.

Finally, the impending death of "rank checking" is with us!! And only five years after it's actual demise as well.

The long tail is a bit of a pain to work with. A. It's really long. B. Integrating LTKW's into text is a pain as most don't make a ton of sense and C. Refer to A and B.

Much more frustrating is illustrated above, where someone achieves ranking for a seeming useless KW. "Best Time Management SOFTWARE" or "BEST TIME MANAGEMENT COURSES" may have been more appropriate.
