First, when was it posted? Google does not usually come over night.

Second, I hate to be the one to tell you this but if you want to get any kind of search engine results your going to have to change your entire website design. It's just one big image with hardly any raw text. Google needs text on the page to look for keywords.

Hey there...

you have 3 lines of text which isnt going to do the job for search engines, The first job would be to get rid of that huge image, if you want to keep it, set it atleast as the background in a table with text over it. Your definetly going to need to write some content for any SE to even look at it. I would then suggest looking into related directories to get listed in, the more links you have pointed to your site the easier it will be for search engines to find you.

Take Care!
Marc

Paul, It looks like "Buxton Swimming Club" is repeated to often in the text. It may be viewed as spamming. With the limited amount of text, I would only repeat this 2 or 3 times. I would also add some keywords into a comprehensive SHORT description of the site inside the ALT tag of the top image (and link the image to www.buxtonswimmingclub.co.uk). I find that google takes alt tags more seriously when the images are links.

I hope this helps.

Your site is already listed, my friend. I just searched for "buxtonswimmingclub.co.uk/" and found your site in the results (although this post is actually higher up on the list).

Alt text is not read at all by Google, unless it is used in a link.

Google does not have spam-detecting in their algo. Unless it is actually obvious spam you will not get picked up for repeating words in a sentence or paragraph.
