A new programming language on experimental basis has been launched by Google. This would be a great gift for the open source community as using this programming language users would be able to develop web interfaces and databases too. The new programming language that has been introduced, as ‘Go’ is a very web friendly scripting language as this language is a compiled version of the existing programming language Python and also includes the security benefits that are available in C++. By launching this programming language, Google has once again proved on how curios it is into entering the core infrastructure of the IT world.

Definitely interesting. My first thought and concern is what is the huge google machine plan is to monetize it. They're delving into so many things and concerns of a monopoly start to pop up for me.

That being said, if anyone can make a go of a new language like this its Google.
