I recieved an EMail about that LSI for SEO and I don't think it will have a huge impact in optimizing websites.

Yes, I have heard from top experts that LSI is not in use and I kinda agree with them. I personally think that google just doesn't want to see the same keyword used over and over again too much (use about 5-10%). Throw in some other keywords in there to make it seem natural is all. Then you will be more likely to get visitors on the alternative keywords as well as the main target. I think that will allow the site to seem like more of a benefit to google for the searcher.

I believe it stands for Latent Semantic Indexing if I spelled it right. It kinda just means that the search engines look for different types of words for a search term. Like if a searcher is looking for the word car, the SE would look for words with automobile too.

I think thats what it kinda means and if I didn't get it right on, let me know, but its something along those lines. I learned about it and heard it was nothing to worry about so kinda forgot about its whole deal to begin with.
