Hi! I have this problem with my Romanian blog (www . succes-inteligent.ro)when I look in webmasters tools at the common keywords tab, all I see is Romanian stop words - absolutely all stop words imaginable are in there - the equivalents of and, on, of, of the, for etc. "And" which is "şi" in Romanian is number one, for example. I figure that Google doesn't know those are stop words in my language. Some relevant keywords are in there but not all. What can I do? I should mention I just added the meta content-language tag only 2 days ago - could this solve the problem?

Also, my header is currently an image with the title of the website and the tagline written in Photoshop. I wanted the <h1> to be the first visible text on each page. Should I make the header text html text so that the main keywords will appear on each and every page?

A new website and such things are not unusual at all.

Sorry about the link I placed. My website is not really new, it's been around for almost 1 year, although it was idle for a few months. What I'm concerned about is that Google doesn't recognize my stop words. Can this happen because I use diacritics (as in şi, în, când, etc) ? What about other, 3 and 4 letter stop words? Isn't there a stop word list for all languages, just as there is Google local search?

What do you mean that your site was idle? was it not live? and suppose it is one year older and was idle for few months then.
It is normal behaviour with all sites specially newer sites.

For a few months, my site was hacked and was marked as reported attack site by Google. I deleted everything (bad mistake) and wrote another 35 posts.


My question came because I thought stop words are supposed to be ignored by search engines.

I will never be able to include ANY keyword more often than the word "and" or "for" or "of". No matter what you write about, these words are naturally part of language. So how will I ever get rid of those being my main keywords ?

Hi! I'm still hoping for an answer for this problem... If not, could you at least suggest another place to find answers, cause I've been asking on other forums, including the Webmasters Tools forum and still no answer...
