Is there a way to bump it, so to speak? I have many pages such as www.site.com/page - where *page* cache date is almost a week and a half behind the *.com...

Just wondering if there is something I'm missing.

Thanks!

That because all your external links will be pointing to the site root, so it will get crawled more often.

The crawl rate of a website is usually determined by Pagerank.

- If a page has very little internal links to it it wont be crawled as often.

crawl rate is actually determined by the SAME THING that creates PageRank, not by the PageRank itself.
