The answer lies in your robots.txt file. You've told the bots to ignore the site with:
User-agent: *
Disallow:
Yahoo! is actually the only one that seems to be skipping it (the syntax is wrong but the result appears to be the same with Google and Bing at least). Remove the file and you should should see the crawlers hit again.

Webmaster Tools certainly wouldn't hurt though.

Doesn't the code in my robots.txt file actually mean that any user-agent is allowed entrance to the page and none is disallowed from my page? I have at least several other pages with the same robots.txt file indexed in google and other search engines... but, please tell me if I am wrong in my understanding of the robots.txt file?

Just ignore that post, your robots.txt file is not blocking anything at all.

In the absence of what should be ... move on to what shouldn't. Would you add the code to your robots.txt file as a test for us just to make 100% sure that it won't cause the problems I think it's causing?

And of course there's the argument - removing it definitely won't hurt so why not give it a try and see if I'm right.

Ohh that's really bad. There are could be few reasons for which your site is not indexed. Don't submit too many links at Directory, Article or any submissions. If you do link building, then make sure that you share link only with relevant sites and as we all know that content is king so no copy-paste content should be there at your site.
At the end, make sure your pages are "follow" pages not "no-follow".

Well well people... sorry to write again, but my page is still not indexed and I have no clue what to do! The content is real, no copy/past and good pages link to it, but still nothing happens. Can it be a solution simply to buy a new domain and hope for better luck using that one?

While ever the BOM is there your pages will NEVER be indexed.

Most of the times Google will index a new website gradually, yes. That is at least what I have observed with most of my websites. The speed at which Google will index all your internal pages will depend on different factors though. If you get some very trusted and relevant backlinks, and on top of that you also have a very efficient internal link structure, all your internal pages will get indexed fast. If, on the other hand, you have very few backlinks and a poor link structure, it might take a while before you get to see all your pages indexed.

Check your blog Settings for Privacy!
WordPress started making the default to shut off all search engines last fall on new installations, at least on my servers.

Go to your Dashboard. Select Settings. Then Select Privacy. Then choose the option as shown below.

I have the same problem. My site is online about 2 months and almost all pages have been indexed, but maybe the most important page with articles is still not indexed. I have no idea why.

@chrishirst How to do that? Link to this page is in the top menu, as all other main pages, but only this one is not indexed.

Have you made some changes to the CMS or the template?

Because some of your pages have a Byte Order Mark BOM which do NOT appear in the pages that are cached.

Linking to make a page "important" means at least from every page and if you "refer" to it more than once on some pages.

Lots of HTML errors wouldn't make google not index it all together, he used WP right? it seems more likely he just had the WP privacy setting turned on :P you'd be surprised how often that happens

I used Joomla for this site, and what's interesting is that I used 2 templates. One template for this page and all it's articles, and another one for all other pages that have been already indexed. So maybe is the problem with the template for this page, but I was looking for some error in code but nothing found.

@chrishirst Can you explain me what is Byte Order Mark BOM, and where did you find that in the code to try to remove or fix that?

make a good xml site map and submit in google, check your robot file, if you site is using dynamic character use redirect.

interlink pages and i hope soon all your pages will be cached.
