Hello

I am the webmaster of madridguide.info and have been so since the end of December. I have several travel guides several to that page and I bought some address at the same time as I did with the address above. All other pages have been indexed effectively, but still no pages are indexed at the above address. There are plenty of links pointing to the page from other sites, so I do not really understand why. I checked out with www.archive.org and the address does not seem to have some kind of bad future.

I have also noticed that the Google bot has been running through the page several times, and AdSense can be seen and used on the page.

Is this still just a time question? Are things slower with the .info domains (first time I use one)? Hope to receive some tips and advices within shortly!

Nothing to do with .info if the googlebot is visiting the site it's just a matter of time.

May be your site is not proper means your site's coding are not proper so google did not index your page

I guess not, as I am using Wordpress and I have used the same modell/theme and plugins at other pages/adresses without any trouble at all. At least not so far....

I think you might want to check if there were something like noindex on that address or there were something in your robots.txt file prevent the crawler from indexing.

It will take time, some time it would index all the pages sometimes only few of the pages. If you see after sometime may be all the pages have indexed.

Index doesnot mean that those pages will show up in the search results.

You should always monitor the traffic analytics. Even if the google has not indexed the pages, you may see a surge in the traffice.

Make sure in your meta tags under ROBOTS that you don't have the NOINDEX attribute, and if you do make sure to edit it to INDEX so search engines will index your pages.

I reemenber another post with the same problem of being indexed, that site had a script between the </head> and the <body> tag.

I tried to validate the site on w3.org http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...Inline&group=0 and it was not possible to validate the site.

I think if you fix this it helps...

Make sure in your meta tags under ROBOTS that you don't have the NOINDEX attribute.Don't be worry,just wait!

Have you tried to submit to social bookmarks? have you submitting any articles?? If not, try and do that

You need to link build your site. Submit it to the major search engines.

I have plenty of in-links to the page, but it is still not indexed by google... The googlebot is dropping by daily, but still - nothing can be seen or is detected by Google. I simply do not understand this! The site has been online for 45 days and in-links have existed from day 1...

You have a BOM (Byte Order Mark) which will stop some UAs from reading the rest of the source code.

Why dont you just sign up the Google's webmasters tools and look what information Google has from your site?

I followed the advice of chrishirst and fixed the BOM problem. Hopefully this will help. I already work with the Google Webmaster Tools, and I can see that my sitemap is visited, it knows how many pages should exist, no special error messages, but until know it has not been indexed. But, hopefully they will be indexed now with the BOM problem fixed.
