1 - my website : www. zemtv. com
2- i have installed a wordpress platform on zemtv.com/videos
3- Daily visitors 6000+ and 22000+ Impressions
4- Google used to index my new post within 15 to 20 minutes
5- My site (keywords) was used to come on top 3 positions on Google Search

But now, when i search the matching keywords, my site is not visible in search engine of google ... i-e when i search any title of my new post its not on search engine .. BUT it is indexed as i saw on ( site:zemtv.com "title of my post") .
I asked my people and they told me that my site has a very low text content and its only videos.. OK i will add more text content , but will i be able to increase my PR again ?

Advertise and promote the pages.

Maybe Google has penalized your site for some keywords, this happened to me one time. Though your not fully banned they do ban you from some keywords. I submitted my site for reconsideration and my site started to rank high in those keywords again in just a few weeks.

PR is about getting links to your website so promotion of each post is now more necessary than it used to be. I also notice that my blog posts are not getting to the top of the rankings as quickly as they used to and I'm assuming it's because of some change in the algo.

A site doesn't get "banned" fo "some keywords" it's either banned or not!

You have hundreds of old page still pointing to your old site sort these out........

Your dns settings needed sorting as your nameservers are shot...........

My point being the list could go on and on as theres load and loads to sort out on your site, so i would fix your site before you do anything else

Yes i have installed the blog on /videos. now what should i do now ? changing the blog location to www.zemtv.com will fix the problem or not ?

there is another issue that i can feel is , google has indexed some of my pages with "www" and most of the pages are without "www" .. should i add "www." when changing the blog address to zemtv.com root ?

You have 301·Moved·Permanently moved your home page this is going to take so time to settle down, and it is very common to lose ranking and of course your new home page will have a 0 page rank as it a new page.........

The 301 should in time pass over the pr, link juice, ranking etc from the old home page but will it all come over who knows, its a waiting game there are no promises here I have seen it go both ways, this is a huge change and should not be done lightly.........

Your need to choose a url for each page and stick to it, which I think is the non www. 301 the www. to the non stick to it in your navigation, site map, internal linking and show one page 301 the others.

Your running on a Apache server so adding the below code to your .htaccess file should do this,
Be sure and check this, i.e add leave your site refresh your browser etc and then test but choose one domain......

why 301 then keep this in your site map????????????

Few months ago i used to run my site on my self constructed website which i placed on http://zemtv.com. and i installed a blog on test purposes in /videos directory .. and mean while google indexed many pages of blog and suddenly my self developed script was having a lot of bugs in it , as i am not an expert developer . i did not felt suitable to shift the blog to root directory (because i was going to loose all indexed pages of blog) .. so i made a redirect .

now there are few options with me..

1) buy another domain and redirect this domain to other one ..
2) or delete all of my indexed pages from webmaster tools and shift the blog to http://www.zemtv.com and start the work again from scratch.

will the option 2 work ? ... Well i am in fever of option 2

I would stay with http://www.zemtv.com for sure, the site is showing 8 sitelinks, has a history etc...........

submit your blog to various directories ... it really helps to increase the PR

Subit your bolg to various dirctories, Book marking may even help you . Try back linking , There are many ways to increase PR as Update Pages Frequently , Add Pages Frequently , try no brokage links, good inbound links .

You can still increase the rank of your PR by posting your backlinks on those sites inner pages that have high PR and be sure that it is a do follow attribute.Link juice will be done in that process.

The site can be penalized but not banned and is not for some keywords as when a site is penalized, Google find the keywords on the site, but it stopped the site to came over a certain page in the searcher. heaven if you searcher with a full and original phrase existing only in the penalised site, it doesn't came on the first position as happened in a not penalized site.

I have this problem in one of my site's but I don't want to give up the site, I don't recommend that. I see a lot of pages with duplicated content, you can start there....

With that explanation all you are seeing is the perfectly NORMAL fluctuations of pages in the multiple datacentres.

No "penalty", no filters, just everyday life when you do pointless things such as "rank hecking"

You need to learn how to search properly.

by putting just the words in, you are NOT searching for the exact phrase, you are searching for combinations of the words which will bring TOTALLY different results.

To postulate a realistic theory you need to know HOW to test accurately and accurately analyse the results from those tests.

Submit your blog to various bookmarking sites. Do article submissions, directory submissions and it will help you..
