i have added my listing in google local and also got a verification code through a phone call however when i log into my account for google local it shows as awaiting verification, so i editted the listing and entered a different mobile number and when i entered the code it worked however when i chnaged this mobile to a landline number or any other number i see awaiting verification

do i just use only 1 mobile number how to go about

i do not understand your question. do you mean you tried with first ph number and it didnot worked, then you used another and it worked?

Google local is a way where small business claim their listing. In other ways popup in google maps and locl search engine Small business can measure the impact of search. I guess your Mobile is being activated with google as a ID or verified tool and not your landline number . Just check with them .

isn't there any other way to verify.... try those.

Getting ranked in google maps will help traffic to your site.
