Hello.

Please help me with a solution for:

What should be the query that will return only main pages of the sites which have a keyword on one of their pages?

Thanks.

I understood what you mean. But the matter is that I do not have a specific list of sites. I just need Google to return only main pages (only domen names) of the sites on which it finds a keyword!

There are NO MAIN PAGES as far as search engines are concerned ALL pages on any web site are equal.

=)
I'm working with Google Custom Search API - I need query that will return domens of the sites which have a keyword on any of their pages. I need Google to return just domen names (I called it Main Pages, no matter). Do you know whether such query exists?

Nope. Because it doesn't.

Search engines are designed to show what their algorithm has deemed are the pages that match the word or phrase the searcher is looking for.

"home" pages or whatever page does not matter!

A URL is a URI but a URI is NOT a URL
