I have a high profile site for a client that is getting about 1,000,000 page views a month. 95% of the traffic is from the dot.com of the name but they also have the .net and .org pointing to the same site. There are 60,000+ pages in the site and there are no 301 redirects.

So sitename.com, sitename.net, and sitename.org all have the exact same content. Google doesn't appear to be dishing out any heavy penalty but I can't help but think it would be better if the .net and .org simply resolved to the .com. But there is the issue of the 60k+ pages and people that may have linked to them from the org or net. It also seems very painful to have to do a 301 redirect for every single page.

Given this scenario anyone have a suggestion on how to proceed?

If .com is performing well, you dont need to do anything, as google is detecting duplicate content on .net and other domain, so having less importance in serp. If you will use 301 redirect, then there is no meaning of having 3 different domain for single site.

As long as you do 301 redirects it won't be dublicate content. And with a proper written redirect code you only need to make one redirect even to get www.ex1.net/page go to www.ex1.com. But why would you need to do that, guess you won't have any inlinks to the .net site?
