Well, believe it or not, but I at one point thought that it would be a good idea to separate site content from design. Quickly reviewing available options and shrieking at the sheer ugliness of php, I chose a slightly different path. As the title might already have revealed, i used javascript to load content from xml "database".

Users with aged browsers or uncanny security settings do not interest me in the slightest. However I have discovered that I might be uncrawlable with Google. This I deduce from the fact that I've submitted a sitemap, and out of 6 availible pages 0 were indexed, and my corporate .EU isn't index at all! My site has been up since January, thought I imagine there are no actual links to it...

Okay, fine. Maybe it's not javascript. But could it be? And if it is, am I boned?

Yep! That's "uncrawlable"

Your site is invisible to search engines.

But my friend said it still possible to be crawl since the java script is only use as uploader and the content is still coming from xml database which is (if I didn't misunderstood my friend!) readable by search engines.

If the XML file is linked they could read the raw XML file in the same way they can see RSS feeds, but how many time do you find a raw RSS feed in the results??
