you can't force anyone to click on your signature, but participating on forums will allow different people to see your website. I agree with you on this one. Quality content is the most important thing in getting more traffic. Word to mouth can do wonders.

You can't get huge traffic only form forum and blog unless you have the huge forums and blogs, there are some other build backlinks ways. social bookmarking is good.

You will start everytime with 10-20 visitors per day, and keep rising..

Sorry, but the only way to get huge traffic FROM a forum or blog would be
to pay for advertising on busy forums and blogs.

Well for a forum that is simple, just make quality posts and establish yourself as an authority figure. As far as a blog, you just want to do what you would with any website. Pick a niche, do KW research, start building content and back links, then the traffic and money will come.

I think regular contribution is the best way to get huge traffic to your website.

The best can be building some article based blog where you can post some good articles and then post about that article in forums..

Understanding the mood of a forum can help you get a lot of traffic. There are forums where people are suspicious of everything, then there are forums where people are starving for and are appreciative of any info you give them.

The later are the forums you're looking for. Though these are very hard to come by.

As an example, just a few days ago I found a forum on a particular topic I was covering, I spent a good hour seeing what the community on that forum was missing. I then built a list of links on my site that this forum needed, wanted, craved. I started a thread pointing to my site and immediately started receiving traffic, nearly 10,000 in a few days from that one forum thread.

Characteristics of this particular forum.

-Very niche, related to what I was covering, but didn't provide itself.
-The discussions move very slowly, not a lot of new threads, 10 a day for the whole forum.
-The most important part, the thread views are huge, 5k plus on a 2 day old thread, plenty of trolls on there just looking for info.
-The community on that forum is pretty lazy, they're always looking for others to do the work and point them in the right directions.

You find forums with these characteristics and you should be able to get some good traffic.

Well to get huge traffic from forums is give relevant answers to the questions asked in the forums with an appropriate signature at the end and in blogs a proper rich content should be written then a good traffic can be generated

It is hard to get direct traffic from forums and blogs, unless your website is very relevant to the forums and blogs. There is hardly people clicking on your signature.

You can earn from your blog by writing good content for it and submitting all pages in social bookmarks, But i don't think you can earn money from forums because in forums you just have control of what you are writing not in all parts of website.
