I have a website that was unchanged for over one year. Dec. 9 I added one out bound link and added some graphics.

Previously it had no outbound links.

Google re-indexed me on Dec. 10 and cached the new page.

Since them sometimes the toolbar show PR1 and most the time it still shows PR7 as it always has.

Does this mean that one datacenter has downgraded me to PR1 and soon all centers will show me as PR1.

A huge downgrade for adding one link to a quality site.

It could be possible if your linking to a bad neighbourhood (link farms and penalised sites).

How many backlinks does the site have (links pointing to the site), as PR is mainly worked out on the number and quality of links pointing to your page, the most likely culprit for a large drop would be a mass decline in backlinks.

G has both the //www and the //domain.com listed seperately.

The www has PR1 and the // has PR7

I have only backlinks to the // so all the PR goes there.

I guess I had better forward the www to the //
