I'm a newbie trying to start affiliating in online casino industry. I'm a complete noob as far as seo is concerned, so I'll be posting questions here and I hope you guys will help me out I'm not a native english speaker so please forgive my bad english


So here are a few questions I have:


1. I'm thinking of starting 1 big site having 300+ pages, and 25 sites having 40-50 pages each. Now the question is, how many links I should give to the main site from each of the smaller site?

From where I should give those links? I mean, from the homepage(bottom of the homepage or in between the homepage's content?) or in-content links from the inner pages(for example, a phrase "online casino bonus" in an article having link to the main site) or whatever you suggest.


2. Should the smaller sites be linked to each other? If yes, where should I put those links? In the "Links"/"Partners" link at the bottom of the homepage?


3. Should I give only 1 link from each small site to the other 24 small sites? Or more?

Hi dude! It is advisable that you link not only from the homepage of your site but from its internal pages as well. I think you are referring to three way links. If your site is hosted in one domain only don't do it in a circle. SEO is not an exact science hence I suggest you do a combination of a variety of white hat tactics.

Why do you need 40 sites ??? thats far too many sites to work with !

Why not just concentrate on one good site ??

You can link them together, you could no follow the links from each site, linking htem all together isnt really a good idea, as google might interpret you as trying to manipulate the search listings and start filtering some of ur sites.

Is it? Why has the busiest site in the world introduced competition for itself? I am assuming google does own bing of course.

I would recommend you to read the some guidelines and tips for better SEO knowledge, start with Google SEO Starter guidelines. Best thing on your situation is to experiment and think of doing things with quality...
