Google doesnt want to accept that Facebook is the best social network on the net.
Matt Brittin (Google's UK chief executive) said:
"Facebook is an absolute phenomenon but there are other social networks which are successful too."
I myself think facebook is the best social network. Whats your idea?
Also Matt Brittin didnt deny that Google is going to start a new social network.

Why? when they already have one?

As orkut has been failed after coming facebook, Google is going to make another social network which is called, Googleme

its pretty obvious that google nailed it.. they just can't admit it.. since facebook is like next to google..

Facebook stole the social network show like Google stole the search engine show, I'm not saying that facebook will never be overtaken but it'll take some doing and some time...

Well in comparison, Google is doing a way better job than FaceBook. I opted out of FB since I couldn't stand their 'God Almighty' type take on everything, very lax security, general waste of time and absolute uselessness.

Google, being the giant it is, (Not that I like it any bit over FB) has better policies when it comes to transparency and security. Something that I rely on all the while.

Everybody knows that Facebook is a big name in social networking resources and from the business point of view Google want to be successful in this field thatswhy we heard these kind of comments.

the owner of facebook is freakishly rich already and there are so many people using and are starting to use is. how does that signify not winning?

google is becoming a real hitler. they won't accept defeat and are even starting to demean those who they see as foes.

Well here is my 2 cents...social networks stink, so I don't care who "controls it". I remember a time when people "really socialized" face to face, not facebook to facebook.
