It can help you a little. Its a factor on Google but it cant help you a lot.

I ran the test on this site called Google which appears to be the search giant of the world. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Look what I found...! A perfect non-validation and 35 errors! See for yourselves.

Dont bother yourselves too much with the validation. There are bigger sins than that.
