Again Google wins in another war
As yo know there was a lot of time that Google has problem with China's government. But today China's government confirmed that it renewed Google Inc.’s Internet license.
Why all countries and companies should reach to an agreement with Google?

I think China is at fault here. why should they block all the website. Censorship is no good.

No... He's saying that it shouldn't be the government's place to dictate what people hear, see, or read... It should be the PARENTS of that kid that decide what is good or not good for their own child.

The Chinese government has already proven that they resort to criminal measures to suppress any thoughts of its people that are not in line with the government's view of "how things should be" by breaking into thousands of gmail accounts a year or so ago.

Personally, I wish Google would pull out of China all together until the PEOPLE of China (not their propaganda promoting, censoring government) can decide for themselves what they want to read, look at, or listen to. But that will never happen because Google sees China as the next gold mine if they can just figure out how to play within all of the confines and restrictions of the Chinese government.

GOOD FOR Google. The company's decision to stop censoring its Chinese search engine is more likely to mean the end of its China-based service than a breakdown of Beijing's political firewall. But more important than the question of whether Google.cn survives is the larger issue that Google has now raised for other Western companies and democratic governments -- which is whether China's gross and growing abuse of the Internet should be quietly tolerated or actively resisted.
