0% means visitors stay on your page for long.

0% Bounce rate means that visitors to that page also visited some other pages on your website. Meaning they didn't just land there and leave.

Since you want that to happen , that is a great thing.

WRONG!!!!!!!! It means any visitors to the page also viewed another page on the same website.

Don't be ridiculous, sessions "time out" after 20 minutes of inactivity.

a 0% "bounce rate" simply means that possibly ONLY ONE visitor arrived on that page then viewed another page on the site.
And it may well have been YOU!

The best thing you could do is IGNORE "bounce rate" until you actually know whether it is applicable to your pages, and in most cases IT ISN'T

Nope because when it times out the visitor has apparently left.

And there is no way that javascript can tell otherwise

I too believe that in most cases forgetting about bounce rate could be useful because it will make you so confused. Why not setting some financial goals for yourself? For example, compare your web earnings per month and then compare the monthly earnings, if the trends show some progress, you can become happy.

I never see anything like that before because you cannot reach 0% bounce rate. Impossible.

Why is it amazing???

You ALL should find out what bounce rate actually means for YOUR site.

You can all stop this stupidity now. Can we assume that you have read some "expert testimony" that says a low "bounce rate" is a good thing??

And as usual you take that as the gospel truth without actually considering that is just generic crap from someone who wouldn't know a fact if they fell over it!!

I'll throw this one in for you to ponder on

Bounce rate is a metric that is ONLY applicable to PAID ADVERTISING it means nothing at all for any other kind of traffic.

I think a large sample size is needed before jumping to conclusions. Even if the bounce rate is low, the traffic to the page may very well be low. The best websites have a little bounce so it's nothing to be fearful of, just increase traffic to the pages that are converting well.

Question for you all.

What does a 100% bounce rate mean?
AND There are two correct answers and neither of them are;

"The visitor left the page without viewing anyother page on the same site"
